I have a teenager!

In people years at least!

Sandy Lady Lindy turned 13 the last week of January. As you can tell she was thrilled!

Matt, Avery and I all teamed up to make her a birthday cake, complete with snausages and beggin’ strips!

Time to sing….and yes, we almost caught the dogs on fire. Not really but……  :-)

Stella ate her piece in one bite. I don’t think that dog has ever chewed a single thing in her whole life.

Lindy took hers and ran off to her bed, and then the family room rug, for enjoyment. Such is life with a dog!

Lindy Sheds

I got a good chuckle as I was looking over some of Will’s math homework this week.

Obviously he doesn’t sweep up much. Or look down at his pants. I guarantee you right now there are more than 36 dog hairs on his pants just from this morning!

But he sure does love his Lindy!

Outtakes

After church last weekend we tried to take a few pics since the kids looked so adorable in their Sunday finest.

Things started good but when I wanted to get the girls involved, well, no one cooperated!! For starters, Stella ran away, as usual.

And then it was just one funny picture after another!

Lindy’s Birthday Celebration!

IMG_2824

Lindy is 12!! My little girl is a pre-teen! Or a senior citizen, depending on how you look at it. Smile

On her actual birthday, it snowed. Pretty sure it was her worst birthday ever. Lindy doesn’t do cold. But she has a great dad who puts a big blanket out on the lawn before it snows so Lindy will have green (okay brown) grass to do her business on when she ventures out. Or is carried out. It is usually the latter.

But a few days later, with both of her beloved g-mas in tow, we had a birthday celebration! She even wore her pearls!

Fried shrimp for the adults, some T-Bones for the girls!

Lindy, even though you get a little more stubborn with each passing year, you are my sweet little girl that loves to snuggle, LOVES kids and tolerates your other 4 legged sister.

We all love you SO MUCH! Happy Birthday!

PS-this was the best of like 50 pics.

Lindy is 11!

This past week was Lindy's 11th birthday!! Hard to believe!

Here is a picture of my first princess on the morning of her birthday in one of her favorite places....our bed!

It was a fairly low key celebration, but then low key is her thing.  We had gymnastics that night so her birthday celebration consisted of a bite of an Andy's cheeseburger and a new bag of bones that the children picked out for her.  She loves those bones!!

But really all Lindy wants for her birthday is slightly warmer weather.....she and Stell Bell are C-O-L-D! This was them one night this week protesting a walk!

Happy, Happy Birthday, my Lou!

Protest

Mommy got new wheels and this is what Stella and I got. I am less than thrilled.....

Baby, it's cold outside!

Seems like we went from the heat of summer to the darkness of winter overnight. I personally know of 2 snug pugs in a rug who DO NOT approve.

What happened to the pug friendly, low humidity, 75 degrees, sunshiny days????

Happy Birthday, Lindy!

Today is my sweet Lindy's 10th birthday! We had a little party to celebrate tonight.  Mimi and G&G came over for burgers on the grill.

The kids decorated the living room (can you tell???)....

Will posing with Lindy. He thought she would like sitting in the baby crib.

Cake time!!!

Time for gifts!!
Avery helps Lindy open gifts, and gets a little help of her own from Uncle Gray

Lindy showing off her new scarf!
Stella is modeling a scarf too!

Then we moved to the living room for some limbo that the kids set up all by themselves. Or maybe Aunt Greta helped, not sure! Uncle Gray said he couldn't limbo because he was born with a condition that didn't allow him to bend that way. Party pooper!
