It’s hard to believe our vacation is already drawing to a close. I will say that if your finances can swing a longer cruise, do it because the “5 day/4 night” (which is really 3.5 days) just isn’t long enough.
The last day was our “day at sea”, meaning no ports to visit. It was a great opportunity to enjoy all the things on the ship we hadn’t been able to spend much time doing thus far, or doing at all! The boys played some foosball but never did get a basketball game going. We were at the pool bright and early to squeeze in a few more rides on the Aqua Duck before the lines got too long.
Will and I played the midship detective agency game. This is a very cruel joke for tired legs, especially when you are impatient like me and won’t wait for an elevator. I can’t remember where the rest of the crew was for this. Maybe they were up on the sports deck.
Mom, Avery and I played a riveting round of mini golf!
And then we enjoyed an ice cream snack!
Back to the room to start the packing process. Boo! While I packed, Avery and her friends enjoyed their afternoon cheese plate.
Guess who is wearing the same shirt again!?!?
Us adults finally got to spend a little time out on the balcony, just relaxing.
We had dinner the last night at the Royal Palace, which was fun to have the “fancier” dinner on the last night. We had a table right beside a window/port hole. We had the same table for breakfast the following morning.
One last group picture before dinner. Please notice Will’s pink polo shirt. He begged for this a few days before the trip. Since I hadn’t done one iota for him as far as special clothes for the trip, I caved and got it for him.
Bright and early the next morning we were on the road, headed north. So sad to see the vacation come to an end but now it’s just time to plan the next one!!
What a great vacation.....your pictures made me feel like I was there....lovely photos of everyone.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask...Does Miss Avery still expect a cheese tray now that you are home?
