On Day 3, we finally made our way over to Epcot, which was all of a 3 minute walk from our room at the Beach Club Resort. Epcot was one of the parks, like Hollywood Studios, that was stressing me out a little this year because there was more stuff we wanted to do and I wasn't exactly sure how to incorporate it all into our touring plan.
Avery getting Sunshine ready for the day.
We brought a lot of “friends” with us this day!!
The boys headed straight for Test Track, which of course Will loved. Avery and I headed over to grab Fast Passes for Soarin', but not without stopping to smell the roses on the way! It was Flower & Garden Festival so everything was so beautiful.
We didn't get Avery on Soarin' the first ride but we did the 2nd time and she has been quoted as saying it was her favorite experience of the whole trip.
Talking to the birds.....they still do this on like a daily basis!
One of the highlights of Avery's trip was meeting her beloved Duffy in person. Remember here when we got her Duffy last year? It is still a daily snuggle for her. We waited in line for a few minutes, which is basically an eternity to a 3 year old, only for Duffy to go on break when it was our turn!!!! But he was back from his cookie break in a jiff!
After lunch, we headed over to see our very favorite princess. Well, Avery and I did. I can’t remember where the boys were…maybe Sum of All Thrills.
Avery had brought along a baby Snow White doll and Sunshine had her Snow White dress on. Snow White was so nice and sweet and even talked to Avery about Sunshine, which you know just sent Avery over the moon!
We continued on through the World Showcase and Avery stopped to dance with the Ziti Sisters (I think that is their name!)
After a rest at the hotel, we headed back to Epcot for dinner. We ate at the Garden Grill, which is a restaurant that actually rotates. I must admit the kids were tuckered out by this point. This was Will’s pick and he was content just coloring instead of visiting with the characters!
After dinner with did “Pops’ Golfball”. Such an un-exciting ride but so much fun to us! Will and I were in a car together and we had the camera.
By this point in the night, Avery was done. She begged to go back and go to sleep, so we took the short walk back to the hotel while the boys stayed and played a little longer. They actually ended up staying for the fireworks!
