We had a fun day celebrating Father’s Day! At breakfast, we gave Matt all of his gifts.
Avery made Matt a door hanger at school.
Will came up with the idea of writing down all of Matt’s favorite things and putting them in a jar. Whenever Matt “feels” sad, he is supposed to pull something out of the jar and we will get it for him. Too bad I’ve forgotten for 2 weeks to buy him gum! The kids picked out really cute ideas…..pickles, gum, Hippie Grocery store cheese, a day off and Avery’s contribution….new work shoes!!

We also got him a NCSU College World Series shirt. Go Pack!!!
Happy Father’s Day, Matt!! You are an awesome dad, husband, provider and role model. We love you so much!
