Party Rockers!

Because I thrive on chaos (or something like that) we had not one but TWO birthday parties for Avery less than 48 hours after we returned from Disney!!

The first party was her "friends" party for a handful of her little girlfriends and had an "ice cream" theme.  We were all set inside the house.

Trying to be Martha Stewart....

We had seen this idea on Pinterest and let's just say it was a big bust!!! Literally with one balloon!

The last one was Avery's attempt. It floated better than the rest of them!!


I peered out the window before the party and sweet Matt had even drawn an ice cream cone in the sand!

Part of the favors were cookies.

I think my humor might have been lost on 4 year olds!

We also had an ice cream sundae bar.

Sweet girls! Girls are a lot more calm and quiet than boys!

Then it was time for the pinata. It actually worked out perfectly in that every kid got to go and then Avery and Will got to go one more time. Avery made the inital whole and Will finished it off!

First time through, Will, who went last, broke the pinata stick!!!!

Avery disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a big yellow bat! It did the trick!
