Party Day for A!

We had a fun day celebrating Avery’s 5th birthday with her friends!

Bright and early that morning Will had me up for some arts and crafts. You see, he had a big banner up on the front of the house when he had his NCSU birthday party a couple of years ago and he wanted to do the same for her. Too sweet.

 

We had her birthday party at a gymnastics place; actually the same place we had Will’s 5th birthday party ironically.

And then the party started. Everyone had so much fun! Even the adults who braved the slide….that might have just been me and Matt!

Will had a ton of fun on the rope swing!

There is a BIG swing at this place. Unfortunately Will weighed too much for it this year, but he was a good sport about not being able to do it. Avery LOVED it….which surprised me since she seems to get motion sickness.

Lilly won the gold medal. Matt did not. Ha!

 

Time to move to the party room. The theme this year was “candy” which is Avery’s favorite thing. We kept things simple…..pizza and cake. And of course a favor box of candy!

Avery had a fun time opening her gifts when we got home.
