Deck the Halls....and the fire hydrant!!

Last Saturday we went to the Farmers Market and picked out our tree.  Until we gather up the nerve to actually do the trek to the mountains to cut our own tree down, I guess this has been our tradition for the last few years.  We actually ended up buying our tree from the same man last year!

Collegiate colored trees are all the (expensive) rage this year!

After picking out the tree, we headed home to decorate. The children are beyond excited with all the festive decorations and lights.  Tree decorating was crazy and frustrating at times. I think 4 ornaments were broken but that is okay.....

We managed to snag a few funny and good pics after it was all said and done. I guess to prove that we didn't kill each other in the process!!

Matthew disappeared outside for a bit, but I didn't think anything of it. Then I looked out the window. Will has been begging for lights outside and this was HILARIOUS!!  We took it down later that night so don't anyone worry about that! It was pretty funny and redneck though!
